Hi, I’m Thomas, the founder of ShroomFolk. I started growing mushrooms during a tough period in my life, looking for something to ground me and give me a sense of purpose. What I found was more than a hobby. Its was a way to grow not just mushrooms but new perspectives and confidence. Since 2018, I’ve been immersed in the world of fungi, learning, experimenting, and appreciating the incredible things they teach us.
This project has been in the works for a long time. Life, including the challenges of the COVID pandemic, delayed things, but it also reminded me why this matters so much. Growing mushrooms is about more than the end result...it’s about discovery, patience, and connection.
