Professional-grade polypropylene substrate bags for mushroom cultivation. These are the same bags I use for every substrate and fruiting bag I produce at Shroomfolk.

Each bag is made from 60-micron autoclavable polypropylene with a G-type 0.5 micron filter patch and 6-strip heat seal. The G-type filter allows higher gas exchange than spawn bags, which is exactly what you want for substrate colonization and fruiting. More airflow means faster colonization and healthier fruiting conditions inside the bag.

These bags handle full autoclave cycles at 15 PSI / 250°F without warping, shrinking, or losing seal integrity. The 32cm width fits 2-3 lbs of substrate comfortably for all-in-one grows, bulk substrate prep, or cut-top fruiting.

BEST FOR:

Sterilized or pasteurized bulk substrate (CVG, hardwood, Master's Mix, straw). All-in-one grow bags (grain + substrate). Cut-top fruiting. Any application where higher gas exchange improves colonization speed and fruiting performance.

HOW TO USE:

Fill with your substrate (or grain + substrate for AIO bags), fold the top over, and seal with an impulse sealer. Autoclave at 15 PSI for 90 minutes (sterilization) or pasteurize at 160-180°F for 60-90 minutes depending on your substrate. Once cooled, inoculate and colonize.

For cut-top fruiting: once fully colonized, cut the top of the bag open, fold the edges down to create a collar, and mist the exposed surface to initiate pinning. The bag acts as a built-in humidity chamber.
